What do you get when you mix a group of youth with several gallons of paint, scads of donated clothing, a generous amount of food, an energetic singing clown, and a giant passion and desire to serve? You get our Be The Church event!

Last month we cancelled our regular Saturday service to take to the streets to go and be the church to our community. The event was bustling with activity including:

  • Replacing the front door and painting the exterior of a home that was affected by October’s mudslide
  • Giving out thousands of pieces of donated clothing to hundreds of people
  • Serving over 175 hot breakfasts
  • Passing out 33 extra large food baskets
  • Entertaining dozens of children with a clown show, games, and toys
  • Sharing and showing the love of Christ to countless neighbors
We would like to send a big giant thank you to those of you who have generously given and prayed over the past year, allowing us to be the church here in El Salvador. Together, we are the church, the hope of the world!
“God is not calling us to go to church; He is calling us to be His church…the hope of the world” –  Craig Groeschel
