LOVE AND HOPE YOUTH CHURCH

The Love and Hope Youth Church is a non-denominational Bible-based evangelical church that seeks to fulfill the Great Commission of making disciples, baptizing, and teaching youth to live a life of obedience and surrender to Christ.

General Service

Each Saturday at 4:30pm we hold our main worship service in the Hope Center.  The service is filled with worship through singing as well as by hearing and learning how to apply the Word of God in our lives. The service time also includes planned activities and games to help the youth connect with one another and increase their fellowship.

Thirsty

Thirsty is our dynamic midweek service that is held every Wednesday in the Hope Center. This service is unique in that it varies each week. The first and third Wednesdays of the month are debate weeks where the youth discuss a number of hot topics and current events important in the lives of youth today. On the second Wednesday of each month we show videos that teach, equip, and minister to our youth. For example, we have used “The Bible Miniseries”, “Answers in Genesis”, and various popular Christian movies. On the last Wednesday of each month, we have a general prayer service that where the youth come together for a special time of corporate and individual prayer.

Discipleship

We believe our greatest calling here in El Salvador is to create disciples of Christ and discipleship is truly the heart of our ministry.  Although there are many ways to disciple, we believe that small group and one-on-one discipleship is the most intimate and effective.  We have four discipleship groups that meet on Monday evenings: a group for girls ages 17 and up, a group for girls 16 and below, and two groups for guys.  We also have two part-time staff who spend time each week meeting with different youth for one-on-one discipleship.  In addition, we also hold a monthly discipleship group for young couples.
